Robert Janás
Photographer, poet and art historian.
Born 30th April 1973 in Brno. From 1991 he studied at Masaryk University in Brno. Graduated in 1998 (MA, history of art and history) (diploma work: Hans Temple, Moravian painter of Naturalism). He obtained PhD degree at Masaryk University in Brno in 2002 (history of art, thesis: Mährischer Kunstverein /1882 - 1918/). 1998 - 2003 he was a lecturer at Masaryk University in Brno (lectures from 19th century painting and iconography). From 2005 he is a lecturer at Charles University in Prague (lectures from 19th century painting).
As a poet Robert Janás obtained several awards.
